Bruce Springsteen, known to all of us as The Boss has only been getting better at delivering exciting live performances. His advancing age doesn’t seem to be holding him back from giving his fans a good time at his concerts. It’s for this reason that Bruce Springsteen Concert tickets, even today are sold out in no time.
Currently, Springsteen along with the E Street Band are in the middle of their Working on a Dream Tour which commenced in April and will go on until late November. Recently they made it known to fans that five new concerts have been added to the list. If you’re a fan and you’re looking to grab a ticket, you’ll have to move super fast.
If you think that the frenzy for Bruce Springsteen tickets is limited to the US alone, you’re mistaken. The same situation prevails across the globe. In Sweden and Norway where the tickets for this tour first went on sale – prior even to the official announcement in the US – the ticketing system crashed in no time due to the heavy rush for tickets. Finland also experienced the same situation.
In recent times the most talked about Bruce Springsteen show apart from his tour has been the 12 minute stage time given to him at the Super Bowl XLIII halftime. Springsteen performed to a packed stadium on the 1st of February, 2009. The next day saw Bruce Springsteen Tix went on sale for his tour. The dire recessionary circumstances notwithstanding, his concert tickets have been grabbed by fans all over the US and the world. The most noteworthy were two of his home destinations – New Jersey and Philadelphia – where he was scheduled for two concerts each; none of the tickets were left 60 minutes after going on sale.
For a decade now Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have had their tour rehearsals at the Asbury Park Convention Hall. The Boss’ fans even made a beeline for those rehearsals held in March, buying tickets so they could watch their favorite singer rehearse.
Now, the tour has announced five additional concerts to keep up with fans’ demands. Four of these will be held in Baltimore, Buffalo, Des Moines and Philadelphia. The fifth one’s scheduled for the 9th of October for the 25th year Anniversary of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in New York. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will perform along with other famous singers like Simon & Garfunkel and Stevie Wonder.
